A cosy nest between land and sea on an organic farm
Ferme des Coutures is located close to the Atlantic coast, just 10 minutes from Châtelaillon Plage. The son of farmers, Bruno chose to take over the 100-hectare family farm in 2004, abandoning milk production in favor of Limousin cows. He subsequently launched direct farm sales and committed to an organic approach for all production. In 2018, the farm expanded with the creation of a pig farm raised on straw.
Having established the principle of agroforestry, Laëtitia and Bruno are keen to offer a farm combining trees and livestock. Here, the animals live in the wild and are fed with the farm's own cereals. Appreciated by local shopkeepers, their products delight the taste buds of the Charente region. In fact, you can sample their delicious beers made from organic barley produced on the farm and brewed at the local brewery.
It's on a plot in the heart of the farm that you can stay, between land and sea. Enjoy an unforgettable stay in the heart of Charente-Maritime.
